What’s special

The Mesh Fly Rug Comfort offers utmost protectionagainst any insect. This makes it the perfect rug for horses with verysensitive skin. The rug is featured with our comfort closure. This closureavoids any pressure and therefore it’s very comfortable during grazing. Forextra comfort and protection, we included a detachable neckpiece.

 

Fabrics & materials

The fly rug is made from a dense structured meshfabric, which keeps most bugs off. The mesh is extremely strong and will be anideal field companion for many summers. The fabric is flat on the inside, thishas a soft feeling and makes sure that no hairs will stick to the rug. Thanksto the light color of the rug, it will reflect the sunrays and does not absorbheat. The fine mesh still allows air permeability. The mane, chest and tailarea are lined with a smooth polyester to avoid rubbing.

 

Shape & size

The Mesh Fly Rug Comfort is anatomically shaped tostay in the right position, even after rolling. The front of the rug is closed thecomfort closure which is easy to attach and avoids pressure. To protect thebelly area the rug features a belly flap. This flap is closed by a hook andloop and 3 straight surcingles. Because the belly cover is close to the horse’sbelly, you avoid that insects fly in from the sides. The tail flap is a littlebit longer than usual and features an elastic for the tail. Thanks to theelastic, the tail stays close to the rug and offers more protection. Thedetachable neckpiece is reinforced with a thicker and stronger webbing, so itdoes not slide down the neck. Because this reinforcement is on both sides ofthe neck, it doesn’t put pressure directly on the manes.

 

Care guide

The Mesh Fly Rug is machine washable at 30degrees, let air dry afterward. We do not recommend to use the dryer.
